Our Halloween Tradition
Halloween wasn’t always a ‘thing’ in Cyprus – it wasn’t an actual holiday celebrated throughout. And surely it was never something that we, as Kanella Mavri Zachari Events ever paid too much attention to. But over the last few years it has sort of become a thing for us! And let me tell you, we look forward to it and we sure hope you do too!
And then… 2020 came with its dreaded lock downs. We tried our best to keep positive and we racked our brains to spread a sort of ‘cheer’ among our associates! We came up with a little idea to carve a whole bunch of pumpkins, and plant little trees in them. We called it ‘Trick or Tree’ and we spent our Halloween delivering them to our associates!
TWENTY TWENTY ONE
The following year, 2021, we wanted to carry on our little Halloween tradition, but we wanted a twist. We went with a bright and sunny pastel palette. We gathered pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. We spent hours cleaning and painting them and we had so much fun. We loaded up the car, headed on over to Minimart‘s studio and we did a bright coloured shoot, with our very own Addams Family. You can check it out here.
TWENTY TWENTY TWO
In 2022, work got the better of us and we didn’t have enough time to properly plan something ‘fun’, but of course we celebrated the best way we knew how – with a pumpkin christening, captured beautifully by Nicole Xidia! Be sure to check it out, because it looks amazing!
